Hi, I’m Maria Camila, the founder of Maca Cake Baker. Originally from Colombia, I moved here in 2021.
My culinary journey began in 2009 when I enrolled in gastronomy and food service management, graduating in 2012. My passion for baking, which I inherited from my grandmother, led me to pursue a degree as a baker in 2013. In 2018, I opened my own bakery in my hometown, where I was honored with two awards for Best Pastry Chef and Best Bakery. Unfortunately, after the challenges of COVID, I had to close my bakery and decided to start fresh in a new location.
